Four more people have died of measles and suspected measles across the country in the past 24 hours, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
During the same period, 677 suspected cases were reported, of which 99 were confirmed, the DGHS said on Saturday.
Since March 15, a total of 117,444 suspected measles patients have been admitted to hospitals nationwide. Among them, 113,200 have recovered and been discharged.
Health officials reported two additional deaths from suspected measles in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of such deaths to 769 since March 15.
At the same time, two more deaths from confirmed measles were recorded, raising the total death toll from confirmed cases to 98.
The DGHS continues to monitor the situation as health authorities urge vigilance to contain the spread of the disease.
