Mission Acharya, whose appointment as an assistant teacher at a government primary school was held up due to the lack of a permanent address, is set to receive his appointment letter.

Prime Minister’s Political Assistant Md Rashed Khan disclosed the development on Sunday after meeting Education and Primary and Mass Education Minister Dr ANM Ehsanul Haque Milan along with Mission Acharya.

In a Facebook post, Rashed Khan said the appointment issue had been finalised after discussions with the relevant authorities.

He thanked the education minister and said he had met him after returning from a two-day visit to Chattogram and Cox’s Bazar to resolve the matter.

Mission Acharya, a candidate from Jhenaidah, had been denied the appointment to the government primary school assistant teacher post because he did not have a permanent address or homestead of his own.
