At least 48 “terrorists” have been killed in multiple intelligence-based operations by Pakistani security forces in Balochistan province over the past three days, according to a statement issued by the military’s media wing, Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR). Samaa TV reported the news.

The statement said the operations were conducted over the past 24 hours in Mastung, Quetta, Kalat and Sibi.

According to ISPR, six “terrorists” allegedly backed by India were killed during an operation in Mastung on September 4. Weapons and ammunition, along with locally made explosives, were recovered from the site and subsequently destroyed, the security forces said.

ISPR also claimed that 26 people were killed during operations at four hideouts in the Shaban area of Quetta. In addition, two more alleged India-backed “terrorists” were killed in an operation targeting a suspected militant hideout in Kalat.

Separately, two more people were killed in an operation in the Bhag area of Sibi, according to the Pakistani military.

ISPR claimed that more than 1,188 “terrorists” have been killed so far in security forces’ operations in Balochistan in 2026.
