The body of a Bangladeshi worker killed in a Houthi attack in Saudi Arabia is expected to arrive in Bangladesh on Friday, according to a report by Manabzamin.
The worker was among the Bangladeshis affected by the attack on King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh.
Two Bangladeshi nationals were killed in the incident, while four others were reported to be receiving treatment in intensive care units (ICUs).
Foreign Affairs State Minister Shama Obaed Islam said the bodies of the deceased Bangladeshis would be brought back to the country at the government’s expense.
The government was also working to provide assistance to the affected families.
The attack has raised concerns over the safety of Bangladeshi expatriate workers in Saudi Arabia amid escalating regional tensions.
Note: The exact worker’s identity and other details mentioned in the original Manabzamin report could not be independently verified.
