Nepalese President Ram Chandra Paudel has congratulated Bangladesh’s newly elected President Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir on his election as the country’s 23rd president.
In a congratulatory message on Friday, Paudel wished President Fakhrul success in his new responsibilities.
He also reaffirmed Nepal’s commitment to further strengthening the longstanding friendly relations between Nepal and Bangladesh, highlighting the deep historical and people-to-people ties between the two countries.
The Nepalese president expressed hope that the two countries would continue to cooperate closely in the future.
