Bangladesh Prime Minister Tarique Rahman on Thursday extended birthday greetings to Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who turned 76, wishing him good health and success.
Rahman conveyed the greetings on Modi’s birthday, September 17.
Modi, born on September 17, 1950, is serving his third term as India’s prime minister.
The gesture comes amid ongoing efforts to strengthen Bangladesh-India relations.
Earlier this year, Modi congratulated Rahman following the Bangladesh parliamentary election and expressed India’s commitment to peace, progress and prosperity in both countries.
