The Bangladesh Madrasah Education Board has cancelled the existing ad hoc managing committees of all private Dakhil and Alim madrasas across the country, paving the way for the formation of new committees under revised regulations.
The decision was announced through an official notification issued by the Madrasah Education Board. It applies to all private Dakhil and Alim-level madrasas currently operating under ad hoc committees.
The move is part of the government’s ongoing efforts to reform the governance of private educational institutions and ensure more transparent and accountable management. Authorities are expected to issue further instructions on forming new committees in line with existing rules and qualifications.
