Under the new schedule, these establishments can remain open from 11am to 10pm every day until October 22, the Power Division said in a letter issued on Monday (October 5).
The previous schedule allowed shops and shopping malls to remain open from 11am to 8pm.
The extended hours have been introduced to facilitate shopping during the Durga Puja season. From October 23, the regular schedule of 11am to 8pm will resume.
