The Bangladesh Petroleum Corporation (BPC) has appointed an acting chairman again after the post remained vacant for nearly a week.
Additional Secretary of the Energy and Mineral Resources Division, Md Manzur Alam Pradhan, has been given the additional responsibility of serving as BPC chairman, according to an office order issued on Wednesday.
The appointment comes shortly after the corporation’s chairman position became vacant, marking another temporary leadership arrangement at the state-run petroleum corporation.
