ComfyStyle, the fashion and lifestyle brand of Purbani Group, has opened its first flagship outlet at Banani 11 in the capital, marking a new step in its expansion beyond online sales into physical retail.
The outlet was inaugurated on Friday night, October 9. The company plans to open more outlets in different parts of Bangladesh before eventually entering international markets.
Speaking at the inauguration, Purbani Group Chairman Abdul Hai Sarker described the launch as an important milestone for both ComfyStyle and the group.
He said the brand aimed to combine quality, comfort and contemporary design to create a fashion and lifestyle experience that would better meet customers’ expectations. The group also plans to expand the brand’s presence across the country and eventually take it to international markets.
ComfyStyle Founder Sharmin Hai said the new outlet would enable the brand to reach customers more directly.
Drawing on Purbani Group’s longstanding industrial experience, ComfyStyle aims to establish itself as a contemporary Bangladeshi fashion and lifestyle brand, she said. Strengthening its position in the domestic market and expanding internationally in the future are also among its goals.
ComfyStyle was launched three and a half years ago under Purbani Group, which has 53 years of experience in the textile and apparel industry. Until now, the brand has reached customers through online platforms and Unimart.
The opening of the Banani outlet expands its retail presence by allowing customers to purchase products directly from the brand.
Purbani Group Director Zakaria H Sarker Farhan attended the inauguration, along with prominent businesspeople and invited guests from various organisations.
Among them were Ha-Meem Group Chairman AK Azad, Square Pharmaceuticals Managing Director Tapan Chowdhury, Akij Resources Chairman Faria Hossain and Managing Director Sheikh Jasim Uddin.
