Police recovered the body of an unidentified man from the Dhaka Elevated Expressway on Friday morning.
Police said the man was approximately 35 to 40 years old. He was wearing a blue shirt resembling the uniform worn by CNG auto-rickshaw drivers and a lungi. His mouth had been taped with Scotch tape.
After being informed, a team of police, including Banani Police Station Sub-Inspector Nazrul Islam, went to the scene.
When contacted around 9:45am on Friday, SI Nazrul Islam declined to provide details, saying, “We are working on it. We will provide details later.”
The entire stretch of the Elevated Expressway is covered by security cameras. However, police could not immediately determine how the man’s body came to be there.
