Moinul Hasan named new Coast Guard DG

Rear Admiral Md Moinul Hasan has been appointed as the new Director General (DG) of the Bangladesh Coast Guard.

The Ministry of Public Administration issued a gazette notification on Wednesday (Aug 19), appointing the Bangladesh Navy officer to the post on deputation. His service has been placed under the Ministry of Home Affairs for the duration of his assignment.

Meanwhile, Rear Admiral Md Ziaul Haque, who had been serving as the Coast Guard DG, has been transferred back to the Bangladesh Navy. His service has been placed under the Armed Forces Division.
