A woman died after falling ill aboard a Biman Bangladesh Airlines flight from Jeddah to Chattogram on Wednesday.
The passenger, identified as Sanowara Begum, became critically ill shortly after flight BG136 took off from Jeddah. The aircraft was subsequently diverted to Muscat, Oman, where she was examined by an airport doctor and declared dead.
Arrangements are underway to repatriate her body to Bangladesh through the Bangladesh Embassy in Oman.
