The Ministry of Expatriates’ Welfare and Overseas Employment has taken a new initiative to address the problems and complaints of Bangladeshi expatriates living abroad more quickly and effectively.
According to a notice issued by the ministry, a special “Complaint Settlement and Resolution Cell” has been established to help reduce the difficulties faced by expatriate Bangladeshis.
The cell, comprising experienced officials from the ministry, will allow expatriates to directly submit their problems and complaints to the relevant authorities via email.
Each complaint received by email will be reviewed with due importance, and necessary action will be taken promptly. In particular, applications and complaints submitted by expatriates will be presented directly to the ministry’s minister and secretary on a daily and weekly basis to facilitate swift decisions at the policy-making level.
According to the office order, the cell will take necessary measures to resolve complaints received through the following email addresses: [[email protected]](mailto:[email protected]), [[email protected]](mailto:[email protected])
The initiative aims to provide Bangladeshi expatriates with a more direct and efficient channel for addressing their grievances with the ministry.
