Prime Minister Tarique Rahman is scheduled to visit Chattogram and Cox’s Bazar today (Sunday), August 9, as part of a day-long tour featuring several official programmes.
This will be his first visit to Chattogram since assuming office.
During the tour, he is expected to attend various development-related programmes and other engagements in the two districts.
In Cox’s Bazar, the prime minister is scheduled to inaugurate and launch several projects, visit sites linked to the July uprising, and attend public and civic programmes.
The visit is expected to draw significant public and political attention as the prime minister undertakes programmes highlighting development initiatives in the southeastern region.
