Bangladesh midfielder Hamza Choudhury joined the national team in Jakarta on Monday ahead of the FIFA ASEAN Cup, ending the wait for his arrival.
Hamza reached the Indonesian capital at around 3pm local time and later linked up with his teammates.
He arrived after playing for Sheffield United in the English Championship before the international break.
Bangladesh have already begun preparations for the tournament, with the team holding a recovery-focused training session after arriving in Jakarta.
The national side will begin their campaign against Malaysia on September 25. They will then face Singapore on September 28 and hosts Indonesia on October 1.
All three Group A matches will be played at Jakarta’s Gelora Bung Karno Stadium.
Farhan Ali Wahid and Shamit Shome are also expected to join the squad, completing Bangladesh’s 23-member team for the tournament.
