Bangladesh waste chances to go into half-time goalless against Bhutan

Bangladesh failed to convert several scoring opportunities as the first half of their Group A match against Bhutan in the SAFF Championship ended goalless at the National Stadium in Dhaka on Thursday.

The hosts created a number of chances but lacked finishing accuracy in the final third, allowing Bhutan to keep a clean sheet through the opening 45 minutes.

Bangladesh looked to take control of the match from the outset but could not translate their attacking moves into goals despite enjoying opportunities to break the deadlock.

The match is part of Bangladesh’s Group A campaign in the regional tournament.
