The Department of Youth Development is offering free artificial intelligence (AI) training across all 64 districts of Bangladesh, aimed at equipping young people with practical skills in emerging technologies.
The training programme is part of the government’s efforts to develop a skilled workforce and expand employment opportunities for young people in the rapidly growing digital economy.
Participants will receive training on AI-related tools and applications, helping them build skills that can be used for freelancing, employment and other professional activities.
The programme is being implemented through the Department of Youth Development’s district-level offices, allowing young people from across the country to access the training without tuition fees.
Officials said the initiative is expected to contribute to developing a technology-skilled workforce and encourage greater use of AI in education, employment and entrepreneurship.
The programme comes as demand for AI and other digital skills continues to grow globally, creating new opportunities for young people with relevant expertise.
