Heavy rain lashed Delhi and adjoining parts of the National Capital Region on Friday, causing widespread waterlogging and disrupting traffic in several areas.
Major roads and low-lying areas in Delhi, Noida and Ghaziabad were inundated, with vehicles struggling to move through flooded stretches near Sector 16 and the DND corridor. The downpour led to significant traffic disruptions across the region. India
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has warned of heavy rain in Delhi and Haryana on Friday and Saturday. IMD forecasts also indicate thunderstorms and moderate to heavy rain in parts of Delhi through Saturday. mausam.imd.gov.in
