At least 12 people were killed in the latest Israeli airstrikes on southern Lebanon despite a ceasefire, Lebanese authorities said.

An Israeli strike on a residential building in Kfar Rummaneh late Monday night (7 September) killed 11 people, including two children and four women. The three-storey building was reduced to rubble in the attack.

In a separate strike on a vehicle, an Israeli attack killed a paramedic, according to Lebanese authorities.

Lebanon’s Health Ministry said 4,362 people have been killed and 12,378 injured in Israeli attacks since 2 March this year.

Since the conflict began on 8 October 2023, the overall toll in Lebanon has reached 8,929 deaths and 30,614 injuries.
