Bangladesh Police has transferred six officers holding the ranks of Additional Superintendent of Police and Assistant Superintendent of Police to new postings.
The transfer order, issued by Police Headquarters on Tuesday, directed the officers to hand over their responsibilities by September 12. Otherwise, they will be considered released from their current posts with effect from September 13.
The transferred officers include Mithun Sarkar, S.M. Ashikur Rahman, A.K.M. Salimul Haque, Tania Islam, Md Nadim Haider Chowdhury and Anik Chowdhury.
