RAJBARI: A case has been filed against 40 to 50 unidentified people over the fire that broke out on a parked “Ma Classic Paribahan”” bus at the Daulatdia bus terminal in Goalanda, Rajbari.
Bus owner Sultan Ahmed filed the case with Goalanda Ghat Police Station on Sunday (September 20) afternoon.
Officer-in-Charge (OC) of the police station Shafiqul Islam confirmed the matter.
Police said 40 to 50 unidentified people were named as accused in the case. However, no one has been arrested so far.
An investigation is underway to determine how the fire started and identify those involved.
“We are investigating how the incident occurred and who was involved. We hope the investigation will uncover the actual circumstances,” OC Shafiqul Islam said.
