DHAKA: No significant change in weather is expected across Bangladesh over the next 24 hours, with conditions likely to remain predominantly dry in most areas and no rainfall forecast anywhere in the country.
The Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) provided the information in its forecast issued for the period from 6am to 6pm on Friday (October 23).
According to the forecast, day and night temperatures across the country may remain nearly unchanged, indicating no major shift in overall weather conditions.
Meanwhile, the BMD said a new low-pressure area may form over the southeastern Bay of Bengal and adjoining east-central Bay of Bengal. The system could intensify subsequently.
Although a low-pressure area may develop around October 23, the forecast for the day indicates predominantly dry weather across the country. Further updates may be available in subsequent weather bulletins if conditions change.
