Dhaka: The 414th meeting of the Board of Directors of Shahjalal Islami Bank PLC was held at the bank’s corporate head office on October 14, 2026.
The meeting was chaired by the bank’s Chairman, Mohammed Younus. The board reviewed the bank’s overall banking activities and approved several investment proposals.
Other directors present at the meeting included Md Sanaullah Shahid, Akkas Uddin Mollah, Khandaker Shakib Ahmed, Engineer Md Towhidur Rahman, A K Azad, Md Moshiur Rahman Chamak, Fakir Mashrikuzzaman and Fakir Maniruzzaman.
The bank’s independent directors, Md Reazul Karim and Muallem A Choudhury, also attended the meeting.
Managing Director Mosleh Uddin Ahmed and Company Secretary Md Abul Bashar were present as well.
