Biman Bangladesh Airlines has extended the suspension of all flights on the Dhaka-Riyadh and Dhaka-Dammam routes until November 4, citing passenger safety concerns amid ongoing attacks on airports in Saudi Arabia.

In a press release issued on Sunday, October 25, the national flag carrier said the decision was taken in the interest of passenger safety.

Meanwhile, Biman is operating two daily flights on the Dhaka-Jeddah route to meet passenger demand. The service will continue until November 4.

Regular flights on the Dhaka-Madinah route are also operating with Boeing 787 aircraft.

Passengers who need to travel to or return from Saudi Arabia urgently have been advised to use the international airports in Jeddah and Madinah, subject to seat availability.

The airline said further updates on flight operations and revised schedules would be announced in due course.

Passengers have been advised to contact their nearest Biman sales centre for ticketing and travel-related information.
