Two people were killed and several others, including three police officers, were injured in a shooting in Minneapolis, United States, on Wednesday, September 2, local police said, reports AFP.
Police spokesperson Garrett Parten told a news conference that the suspected gunman had also died.
A hospital spokesperson said two of the three police officers taken to hospital were in stable condition.
Parten said one person was killed at the scene. Four others were taken to hospital, where another victim later died.
Police did not disclose any information about the motive for the shooting at the news conference.
Minnesota Governor Tim Walz urged people to pray for Minnesota.
FBI Director Kash Patel said members of the agency were working at the scene.
Authorities said they would hold another news conference later to provide further details.
