United Arab Emirates (UAE) President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has congratulated Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir on his election as the President of Bangladesh and assumption of office.
In a congratulatory message, Sheikh Mohamed extended his warmest congratulations and best wishes to President Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, wishing him good health and success. He also wished the government and people of Bangladesh continued progress and prosperity.
UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and UAE Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Presidential Court Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, also sent congratulatory messages to President Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir on the occasion of his swearing-in.
The UAE expressed its expectation of working closely with Bangladesh’s new leadership to further strengthen the longstanding ties of friendship and cooperation between the two countries.
