The United States has urged visa applicants to submit their applications through the US embassy or consulate in their home country.
In a message issued on Sunday (July 19), the US Embassy in Dhaka said applicants should schedule their visa interviews at the US embassy or consulate in their country of residence or nationality.
The embassy warned that applying for a US visa from a third country may reduce the chances of visa issuance. It also noted that visa application fees paid for such applications are non-refundable.
