The Bangladesh Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee has announced a revised timeline for the publication of this year’s Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent examination results, saying technical preparations may continue until July 27 or 28.
Professor Syed Akhtaruzzaman, president of the Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee and chairman of the Dhaka Education Board, said on Wednesday that the boards are in the final stages of processing the results.
“Our preparations will likely continue until July 27 or 28. After that, the results will be published on the date fixed by the government,” he told reporters.
According to the board, key technical tasks, including tabulation, verification and final checks, are nearing completion. Once these processes are finished, the Ministry of Education will approve and announce the official result publication date.
A total of 1,857,344 candidates from 11 education boards registered for this year’s SSC and equivalent examinations. Of them, 930,305 were male students and 927,039 were female students.
During the examination period, 208 candidates were expelled for alleged involvement in unfair means or cheating.
As in previous years, students will be able to access their results through their respective education board websites, their educational institutions and via SMS on the day the results are officially released.
