The makers of the highly anticipated film “Ramayana” have announced that its trailer will be released globally on July 30 at 4:15 a.m. Indian Standard Time (IST), coinciding with the auspicious Brahma Muhurta in Hindu tradition.
Producer Namit Malhotra revealed the release schedule by sharing a new poster on social media, describing the early morning launch as a symbolic way to welcome “a new dawn of Ramayana.”
According to Hindu beliefs, the period between 4:00 a.m. and 5:00 a.m., known as Brahma Muhurta, is considered an auspicious time for beginning important undertakings. The filmmakers said the timing was chosen to reflect the spiritual significance of the epic on which the film is based.
The trailer will be released simultaneously across digital platforms in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam, allowing audiences across India and abroad to watch it at the same time.
Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, the film features an ensemble cast from Bollywood and the South Indian film industry.
Ranbir Kapoor stars as Lord Ram, while Sai Pallavi portrays Sita. Kannada superstar Yash takes on the role of Ravana, with Sunny Deol playing Hanuman and Ravi Dubey appearing as Lakshman.
The cast also includes Arun Govil, Lara Dutta, Rakul Preet Singh, Vivek Oberoi and Kunal Kapoor in key roles.
The epic adaptation is one of the most awaited Indian films in recent years, and the trailer launch is expected to generate significant excitement among audiences ahead of its theatrical release.
