The producers of Salman Khan’s upcoming film have dismissed reports claiming the Bollywood superstar accepted a significantly reduced fee for the project, describing the speculation as “completely false and baseless.”
Recent media reports alleged that Khan had agreed to charge Rs. 70 crore for director Vamshi Paidipally’s untitled action film, despite his reported usual remuneration of more than Rs. 120 crore.
In a statement, production house Sri Venkateswara Creations denied the claims, saying the reports regarding Khan’s remuneration and the film’s budget were inaccurate.
“We have come across several reports circulating regarding Salman Khan’s remuneration for SVC63. We would like to categorically state that these reports are completely false and baseless,” the producers said.
They added that the company does not comment on or disclose confidential business or financial arrangements related to its productions.
“The figures currently being circulated, including those relating to the film’s budget, are purely speculative and factually incorrect,” the statement said.
The producers also urged media outlets to seek clarification directly from the production team before publishing reports related to the film.
They said the team remains focused on delivering a grand cinematic experience and thanked audiences for their continued support.
Tentatively titled SVC63, the film stars Salman Khan alongside Nayanthara and is directed by Vamshi Paidipally. Presented by Dil Raju, the project went on floors on April 22, 2026. It is produced under the banner of Sri Venkateswara Creations by Shirish and Kuldeep Rathore, with Rafi Kazi serving as co-producer.
