Saudi Arabia has introduced a new multiple-entry Umrah visa valid for 365 days, allowing eligible Muslim pilgrims to perform Umrah multiple times within a year without applying for a new visa for each visit.
The initiative, announced by the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, is part of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 strategy to make religious travel more flexible and improve services for pilgrims.
Under the new system, visa holders can enter Saudi Arabia several times during the visa’s one-year validity, with a maximum cumulative stay of 90 days across all visits.
Every entry must comply with Saudi regulations, and pilgrims are required to book an approved Umrah service package through the official Nusuk platform before travelling.
The multiple-entry visa replaces the need to submit a fresh visa application before every Umrah trip, making it easier for worshippers who wish to visit the holy cities of Makkah and Madinah more than once a year.
However, the visa cannot be used during the Hajj season and is intended solely for Umrah.
According to the official Saudi visa portal, the government visa fee is $80, along with digital service and insurance charges.
The final cost varies depending on the selected insurance provider.
Applications can be completed online through the official Nusuk platform, which also allows pilgrims to arrange accommodation, transportation and other travel services.
