One held while attempting to offer flowers at Dhanmondi 32

A man who came to Dhanmondi 32 in Dhaka to offer flowers on the occasion of the death anniversary of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman was detained on Saturday morning. The detainee was identified as Arnab Das, a resident of Tangail.

Security was tightened in the Dhanmondi 32 area from Friday night. Law enforcement agencies remained on high alert around the demolished residence and surrounding areas.

Dhanmondi Police Station Officer-in-Charge Mohammad Imdadul Islam said, “We have initially learned that Arnab Das is an active member of the banned Jubo League. He is being questioned.” Source Manabzamin.
