Indian yoga guru Ramdev has claimed that Bangladesh, Pakistan and Afghanistan will one day become part of India again, urging Indians to “have a little patience.”
Ramdev made the remarks while speaking to reporters at Swami Vivekananda Airport in Raipur on Monday, August 17, according to Indian media reports.
“Such a time will come when Pakistan, Bangladesh and Afghanistan will once again be united with India. Just have a little patience,” he said.
Ramdev also alleged that Hindus in Bangladesh and Pakistan have faced persecution and injustice. He said that no religion is under threat in India, but claimed that the country’s honour and dignity are at risk.
He further said that freedom of expression in a democracy should remain within the limits of the Constitution and morality.
