President Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir visited Ibrahim Cardiac Hospital in Dhaka on Wednesday to see Power, Energy and Mineral Resources Minister Iqbal Hassan Mahmud Tuku, who has been hospitalised after falling ill.
Tuku was admitted to Ibrahim Cardiac Hospital on Tuesday night and was later taken to the Coronary Care Unit (CCU).
Reports said he had been suffering from fever, cold and respiratory complications, with doctors suspecting a lung infection.
