Bangladesh-born businessman and Summit Group Chairman Muhammed Aziz Khan has been dropped from Forbes’ 2026 list of Singapore’s 50 richest people.
Aziz Khan had appeared on the prestigious list for several consecutive years. He first entered the Forbes Singapore rich list in 2018 and later became a billionaire, with Forbes currently estimating his net worth at around $1 billion.
Forbes published its 2026 Singapore’s 50 Richest list on September 2.
The combined wealth of the 50 richest people and families remained unchanged at $239 billion, while the minimum fortune required to make the list stayed at $1 billion.
Aziz Khan’s exclusion means he no longer ranks among Singapore’s top 50 wealthiest individuals and families, despite remaining a billionaire according to Forbes’ separate billionaire profile.
Khan, who is a Singapore citizen and resident, is the chairman of Summit Group, one of Bangladesh’s leading business conglomerates, with interests in power, ports, fibre optics and real estate.
The 2026 Forbes list is led by Eduardo Saverin, co-founder of Facebook, with an estimated fortune of $32.9 billion.
Kwek Leng Beng and his family ranked second with $16.1 billion, followed by Robert and Philip Ng with $14.3 billion.
Forbes said its 2026 rankings were calculated using shareholding and financial information, with valuations based on stock prices and exchange rates as of August 14, 2026.
