The newly appointed chairman of the Bangladesh Public Service Commission (PSC) is scheduled to take oath today, Sunday (September 6).
The oath-taking ceremony is expected to be held at the Supreme Court Judges’ Lounge, where the Chief Justice will administer the oath.
The appointment of the new chairman comes as part of the government’s recent restructuring of the PSC.
The commission plays a key role in recruiting candidates for Bangladesh’s civil service through competitive examinations, including the Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) examinations.
