Police have arrested retired Major General Golam Mahiuddin Chowdhury in connection with an attack, vandalism and looting at the New Guinea Properties housing project in the ECB Chattar area under Dhaka Cantonment Police Station.
A team of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police’s Detective Branch (DB) arrested him from the Segunbagicha area of the capital on Wednesday.
DB Additional Police Commissioner Md Shafiqul Islam confirmed the arrest to media.
