Vivo has launched the new Vivo Y500 smartphone in the country, promising a smooth and reliable experience for seamless app switching, scrolling, video streaming, and daily tasks. The core of this smooth experience is Vivo’s latest operating system, OriginOS 6.
Vivo Bangladesh announced that formal sales of the phone would begin on Saturday, July 18th, in the country’s technology market.
A press release detailed the new phone’s specifications, highlighting a 6.83-inch 1.5K Infinity AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. For extended use, it features an 8,100 mAh Bluevolt battery. To ensure performance, the phone is equipped with a 6-nanometer ultra-smooth processor, which delivers 30% more overall performance compared to the Snapdragon 685 processor. As recognition for its uninterrupted performance, it has received the 50-month long-term smoothness certification.
In Bangladesh, the 128 GB variant of the Vivo Y500 is priced at BDT 36,999, and the 256 GB variant costs BDT 43,999. During the initial sales campaign, customers can choose between a smartwatch or up to 9 months of 0% EMI facility.
