Yemen’s Houthi rebels have claimed responsibility for a drone strike targeting what they described as a “sensitive military site” at Najran Airport in southern Saudi Arabia.
In a statement issued by the group’s military spokesperson, the Houthis said the attack was carried out using a drone and that it struck the intended target with precision.
The group said the strike was in response to what it described as repeated Saudi drone operations violating the airspace of Yemen’s Saada and Hajjah provinces.
There was no immediate confirmation from Saudi authorities, and no verified reports of casualties or significant damage were available at the time of reporting.
