President rushes to hospital to see Minister Tuku

Dhaka: President Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir visited Ibrahim Cardiac Hospital in the capital on Wednesday morning (September 2) to see Power and Energy Minister Iqbal Hasan Mahmud Tuku, who is currently undergoing treatment there.

During his visit, Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir spent some time at the hospital and spoke with the doctors about the minister’s condition and latest health updates. He also wished him a speedy recovery.

The Power, Energy and Mineral Resources Minister was admitted to Ibrahim Cardiac Hospital in Shahbagh on Tuesday night (September 1) after developing health complications related to sudden fever, cold and cough, and a lung infection.

He is currently receiving treatment under the close supervision of specialist physicians at the hospital.

The minister’s personal assistant, Abdullah Al Kayes, told the media that Tuku had been suffering from fever for the past few days and was taken to the hospital for medical tests and proper treatment.
