Dhallywood superstar Shakib Khan, widely known as the “King Khan” of Bangladesh’s film industry, has remained at the top of the country’s cinema scene for more than two decades. While his appearances on the big screen are often marked by action, glamour and high-energy performances, glimpses of his personality away from the camera occasionally emerge through his social media posts.
On Monday evening, August 5, Khan shared a photo on social media with the caption, “Keeping it simple. Keeping it real…”
In the picture, the actor is seen sitting casually in a black T-shirt and a cap bearing his signature “SK” logo. A large portrait of Khan hangs on the wall behind him, while the actor himself appears relaxed and understated.
The post quickly drew enthusiastic reactions from his fans. Some praised his youthful appearance, with one fan joking that he looked “27, not 47.” Others described him as “the last superstar of Dhakai cinema.”
Fans also praised his casual style and watch, with one calling the overall look classy and saying it reflected the personality of a confident man. Another fan humorously described him as the “crush of thousands of women.”
Despite his immense popularity and busy professional life, Khan has often maintained a relatively private lifestyle. His preference for spending time in his own rhythm, dressing casually and maintaining a grounded persona has become part of his appeal among fans.
Away from the glamour of the big screen, such glimpses of his more relaxed and natural personality have helped make the star appear more relatable to his audience.
Khan recently announced his new romantic film “Mohabbat”, which is the third project involving director Himel Ashraf and producer Arshad Adnan, following their successful films “Priyotoma” and “Rajkumar.”
The first-look poster of Mohabbat features Khan in a dramatic appearance wearing an overcoat and holding a pistol. The film is scheduled for theatrical release during Eid-ul-Azha in 2027.
In 2026, Khan also appeared in the musical romantic film “Rockstar,” where his performance and style received praise from audiences.
He is also reportedly discussing plans for a sequel to Raihan Rafi’s hit film “Toofan”, along with several major projects with local and international filmmakers.
With several big-budget and diverse projects in the pipeline, Shakib Khan remains one of the busiest and most prominent stars in Bangladesh’s film industry.
