Dhallywood superstar Shakib Khan has returned to Bangladesh after spending two months in the United States. The actor arrived at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at around 6pm on Tuesday (September 1).
After a long break, Shakib is preparing to return to his film work and resume his busy schedule.
During his stay in the US, he attended to personal matters as well as several business-related activities. He returned home exactly two months after leaving Bangladesh.
Shakib departed Dhaka for the United States on July 2. On the same day, he signed a new film to be directed by Mehedi Hasan Hridoy. Shooting for the film is expected to begin soon.
Before starting work on the new project, however, Shakib has to complete a few scenes for his upcoming film Soldier. He is scheduled to take part in the shooting of the remaining scenes next week, after which he is expected to fully focus on his new film.
Travelling to the United States is not new for Shakib. He has visited the country several times in the past for film shoots, family needs and personal matters.
Shakib is a US green card holder and is required to spend a certain period of time in the country each year. He stayed there this time as well, while also attending to personal and business matters.
Having completed his two-month stay, Shakib is now back on home soil. With the remaining work on Soldier and the shooting of his new film ahead, the Dhallywood star is set to return to the camera and a busy professional schedule.
