A fire broke out at a helmet warehouse in the Mukim Bazar area of Bangshal in Old Dhaka on Sunday evening.
The Fire Service and Civil Defence received information about the blaze at around 6:02pm and dispatched seven firefighting units to the scene.
The fire was brought under control at around 7:55pm after nearly two hours of firefighting efforts.
The warehouse was located on the first and second floors of a building, according to Fire Service officials.
The immediate cause of the fire and the extent of damage were not known initially. No casualties were reported.
