Bangladesh has strongly condemned the Houthi attacks targeting Saudi Arabia, which injured several civilians, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement on Tuesday.

Dhaka firmly rejected all acts of violence against civilians and civilian infrastructure and expressed full solidarity with the Saudi government and its people.

Bangladesh also reaffirmed its unwavering support for Saudi Arabia’s sovereignty, territorial integrity and security.

The attacks reportedly targeted several cities in southern Saudi Arabia, including Abha, Khamis Mushait, Jazan and Najran.

Saudi authorities said at least 73 people were injured, while fires broke out at several energy facilities.
