Saidur Rahman Khan appointed ACC secretary

Mohammad Saidur Rahman Khan has been appointed as the new secretary of the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC).

The Public Administration Ministry announced the appointment through a notification issued on Wednesday (29 July). Saidur Rahman Khan, who was serving as secretary of the Ministry of Disaster Management and Relief, will replace the outgoing ACC Secretary Mohammad Khaled Rahim.

In another notification, Mohammad Fazlur Rahman, chairman of the Bangladesh Chemical Industries Corporation (BCIC), was appointed secretary of the Bangladesh Public Service Commission (PSC). He was promoted to the rank of secretary before being assigned to the post.

Meanwhile, Mohammad Rashidul Islam, chairman of the Bangladesh Space Research and Remote Sensing Organisation (SPARRSO), has been transferred to the Ministry of Industries as an additional secretary.
