Crown Plaza Dhaka Airport has become the platinum sponsor of the Bangladesh Travel and Tourism Fair (BTTF) 2026, the country’s largest international tourism fair.
The 14th edition of BTTF will be held from October 29 to 31 at the Bangladesh-China Friendship Conference Centre (BICC) in Dhaka.
A memorandum of understanding (MoU) to this effect was signed between the Tour Operators Association of Bangladesh (TOAB) and Crown Plaza Dhaka Airport at a ceremony at the hotel on Sunday (August 30).
On behalf of TOAB, its Director (Trade and Fair) Md Abul Baset Babu and Director (Media and PR) Md Mizanur Rahman signed the MoU. Ashwani Nair, Area General Manager of IHG, Southwest Asia, and Cluster General Manager of Crown Plaza Dhaka Airport and InterContinental Dhaka Airport, and Cluster Director of Sales and Marketing Md Nazrul Islam signed it on behalf of Crown Plaza.
The three-day international tourism fair will bring together domestic and international tourism organisations, tour operators, travel agencies, airlines, hotels, resorts, destination management companies, hospitals and healthcare providers, transport companies and other stakeholders.
TOAB said the partnership would strengthen cooperation between the hospitality and tour-operator sectors while creating greater opportunities to promote Bangladesh as an attractive tourism destination among domestic and international travellers.
The association said Crown Plaza’s support as platinum sponsor would play an important role in making BTTF 2026 more successful and effective.
It expects the fair to serve as a key platform for tourism promotion, business networking, business-to-business activities and international tourism cooperation.
