Aircraft loses wheel, makes emergency landing at Dhaka airport

A passenger aircraft travelling from Cox’s Bazar to Dhaka made an emergency landing at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport after losing a wheel shortly after take-off.

The flight crew alerted air traffic control about the incident and requested an emergency landing in Dhaka.

Airport authorities activated emergency procedures, positioning fire service units and other emergency personnel near the runway.

The aircraft landed safely, and no injuries were reported in the incident.

The cause of the mechanical malfunction was to be investigated by the relevant authorities.
